I’m usually a fan of gloomy weather but damn! Just a little bit of sunshine would be nice. So far we’ve had two consecutive seasons of sucky weather. Not enough snow in the winter and way too many cloudy days this spring.
Lately, I’ve been trying to find a hobby. I’ve decided to try entering sweepstakes. It’s relatively cheap and I could win something. So far though I haven’t won all that much besides a couple of bucks here and there and a video game. A friend of mine won an entertainment center, I think it included a TV, a stereo, and a $1000 gift certificate. I thought a lot of the online sweeps were scams. I still think a high number of them are but I’ll give them a minimal amount of personal info about me for the chance to win cash and prizes.
My mom’s insurance company finally authorized a rental car for her. Unfortunately, the place she chose doesn’t have much of a selection. She said something about ending up with a Geo Metro. Are they still on the road?! I told her they might as well give her a bicycle. I don’t know about her but I think I’d probably rather have the bike. They travel at about the same speed and offer the same amount of protection in a crash.
