I’ve been wanting to change up some things around Freakytopia so after a bit of a search I finally found a theme to replace the one I was using. I loved the theme but it stopped being supported and updated years ago so it was past time to move on. Anyway, I’m still tinkering around with all the options I now have, so what you see today may look totally different next week. I feel kind of good about the change. I figured I needed to do something to get out of the funk I’ve been in lately. Now I just have to get a logo designed one of these days and find some more blogs to follow then I’ll be good for the time being.
In addition to the new theme I took a razor to my head and face and felt refreshed. Well, I did until all that shit started growing back now I can’t tell you if my name is Itchy or Scratchy. I’m not really liking the new razor, it cuts differently from my regular brand so that could have something to do with it. My blog wife, between fits of being cruel to me, sent some samples of her spa products. So far I’ve only used the lip scrub and the whipped shaving soap. The lip scrub smelled good enough to eat and I probably shouldn’t say this but it didn’t taste bad either. I’m glad I called dibs on her if she strikes it rich.
I don’t know what the hell’s going on. My skin seems to be flaking a lot but it’s been wetter than than whale pussy for the past few weeks with the rain and humidity and I drink plenty of fluids. I hope I quit molting soon because this is annoying.
DirecTV has been interesting. The Genie DVR refuses to remember my network when entering the info manually so I had to do some research and figured out another way by luck and persistence. While rain isn’t generally enough to take down the satellite signal, heavy rain like say from a thunderstorm with flash flood warnings will pretty much do it every single damn time. Did I mention that we’re about 8.5 inches above normal, I believe, in terms of rainfall? We’ve had heavy rain at some point almost everyday for the past two or three weeks. Depending on how long the storm lasts the outage isn’t that long but still. It’s cheaper than Time Warner and the rain has to stop some time, right? Anyway, I don’t have the words to express how fucking tired I am of this rain. Last time I checked I didn’t move to Seattle last year. Mother Nature needs to take her act right pills.
