Long time no blog, huh? Since last we posted, I got a new phone. I went with the Galaxy Note 9 which I had my eyes and heart on for the longest time. Sometimes I miss my iPhone. Androids will always look better in my opinion but I got used to iOS and kind of enjoyed it’s simplicity. My Note 9 is okay. The curved screen is kind of annoying at times, like when trying to close an ad or read certain text located along the curve. Maybe next time I’ll get a One Plus or something cheaper. Speaking of cheaper, have you seen those new foldable phones? They’re definitely not cheaper. I’m also curious to how the screen will look after frequent use. Will there be a noticeable crease down the middle? I guess I won’t have to worry about it any time soon because I definitely refuse to pay $2000 for a phone. Nope, I can’t do it!
I did end up getting an Nvidia Shield. So far I’m loving it and unlike the Amazon Fire TV Cube, this isn’t first generation hardware and it actually works! The apps for various channels seems to be more reliable than my cable’s on demand so that’s a plus. Kodi is cool as well. I’m still figuring out what other apps are worth my time. Let me know what you use.
I think NC is full of gremlins. I don’t remember having so many issues with power (outside of major storms) when I lived in Michigan. Today alone, the power has been out twice. I guess it’s a brown out since the power seems to go out just long enough to be annoying as fuck. Seriously, I’m talking about less than 30 seconds but waiting for everything to reboot when this happens and trying to continue where I left off is seriously starting to piss me off. Can’t win civil wars or keep power flowing consistently. *sigh* Hopefully, they get this shit fixed before The Walking Dead comes on tonight. If I miss the pike scene I’m going to be pissed!
My lease is coming to an end soon. I’m not sure if I’m going to lease again or buy something. I guess it will come down to if I get a better deal on a lease or not. Thinking about test driving something this week. I’ll definitely try to test drive my top choice and possibly my top three. Keep your fingers and toes crossed for me. I hate dealing with salespeople because I don’t trust them and the whole process takes too long. I always leave feeling like I got cheated and lost a fight on top of it.
I’ve been trying to get back into going to the movies again. So far this month I’ve seen A Madea Family Funeral and Captain Marvel. I may try to fit in Us before the end of the month, but I’m on the fence about it. I’m trying not to read spoilers about it but I’m not sure I’m interested enough in seeing it unless I read spoilers. I read spoilers for Get Out before seeing it because I was unsure how I’d enjoy it.
I’ve been experimenting with trying to grow my facial hair for a few months. Not really sure how I feel about it. Val seems to like it. My mom and Cinnamon, not so much. I think it’s kind of a chore but I haven’t decided if I’m going to just shave most of it off or go to a barber and have them trim and make everything look neat. Val says I’m going to look 15 if I shave everything off. I’m okay with that. Maybe I’ll just trim the mustache and goatee and get rid of everything else.
Man I tell you check out Cinema, and the fucking thing is not playing sound. Fuck!!! I know how you feel about US. Like I said I’m kinda in between.

I like my fire stick and someone recently said Cinema was better than Kodi. So I downloaded Cinema. They were right, it’s easier and I have found every show I want to see. I saw US. I can’t tell anyone go/don’t go see it because I’m torn. I kinda got the message until the end. That’s all the spoiler from me.
